Live the Way We’re Made.
“There’s a day coming when the mountain of God’s House will be The Mountain – solid, towering over all mountains. All nations will river toward it, people from all over set out for it. They’ll say ‘Come, let’s climb God’s Mountain, go to the House of the God of Jacob. He’ll show us the way he works so we can live the way we’re made.’ Zion’s the source of the revelation. God’s Message comes from Jerusalem. He’ll settle things fairly between nations. He’ll make things right between many peoples. They’ll turn their swords into shovels, their spears into hoes. No more will nation fight nation; they won’t play war anymore. Come, family of Jacob let’s live in the light of God.” -Isaiah 2:1-5
I picture divided people groups all over the world, and as His Spirit and light fills us, we find that we are all ‘rivering’ toward the same Great Mountain - trickles of light all over the world, running toward the Source of all Light. What a sight to behold! Come! Let’s climb God’s Mountain! He’ll show us the way he works so we can live the way we’re made!
We were made by a God of Love to be Love.
“So, friends, we can now – without hesitation – walk right up to God, into ‘the Holy Place.’ Jesus cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The ‘curtain’ into God’s presence is his body. So let’s do it – full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on…” -Hebrews 10:19-25
Come! Let’s climb God’s Mountain! He’ll show us the way he works so we can live the way we’re made!
